AgniCel Healthcare is building a next-generation cell and gene therapy (CGT) platform to make advanced CAR-T therapies more accessible, scalable, and commercially viable across India and emerging markets. The company's first product platform focuses on novel dual-target CAR-T therapies incorporating innovative design to improve treatment durability and generate highly efficient CAR-T cells capable of providing effective treatment.

Dr. Maloy Ghosh, PhD
Founder & CEO
25+ years of experience spanning academia, biotech innovation, and drug development. Founding team member and CSO of Zumutor Biologics, where he helped raise ~$40M in venture funding. Led development of India's first novel biologic immuno-oncology program from discovery to US FDA-approved clinical trials, and built Zumutor's therapeutic antibody discovery platform and a first-in-class monoclonal antibody program for solid tumors. Inventor of 40+ global patents, recipient of multiple government research grants, and author of numerous peer-reviewed publications. Trained at Bose Institute and IIT Kharagpur (PhD), with postdoctoral work at Wright State University, USA, and British Columbia Cancer Research Centre, Canada.
